Tugboat skipper mourns end of log towing on Lake Coeur d'Alene PDF Print E-mail

- For 25 years, Oscar Mooney has delivered logs to northern Idaho sawmills using a tugboat on Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River.

But he makes his last run this week.
That's because the last of the five sawmills -- the DeArmond mill -- is closing in May.

— Somali pirates have freed a Russian-built tugboat more than a month after it was seized off the coast of the Horn of Africa country, a minister in the breakaway Puntland region said Tuesday.
