Union Accepts Deal For Clerks In LA and Long Beach PDF Print E-mail

Clerks at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach have reached an agreement that avoids a work stoppage. The members of the Office Clerical Unit of Local 63 of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union agreed to a wage increase of $2.50 per hour for three years and provides some flexibility in staffing for employers. Union members will vote on the contract sometime next week, but passage is expected.

It's great to see the amount of vistors we get daily.
It would be even greater, if you would all just take a minute and regsiter.
