Crowley Maritime Corp Establishes Leadership Program
Crowley Maritime honored the memory of Marty Johnson, a former employee who passed away in 2006 while on a company assignment. The company presented a $250,000 check to the Web Institute in Glen Cove, NY to establish the Marty Johnson '88 Leadership Program. Johnson was a graduate of the Web Institute, a college of naval architecture and marine engineering.
Crowley is also funding the Thomas B. Crowley, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Program, which will provide two junior or senior students at the Webb Institute with scholarships totalling $10,000.
