STAMFORD - A 130-foot barge capsized early yesterday, dumping 960 cubic yards of bluestone gravel into the city harbor.

The barge, owned by Buchanan Marine, had been tied up at the harbor's 'nurse buoy,'which the shipping company used to park its vessels, said Sgt. Pete Wolff, supervisor for the Stamford Police harbor unit. Wolff said he did not know the barge's destination.
