USS Intrepid's farewell journey PDF Print E-mail

After a stay of nearly two years at the home port in Staten Island, the USS Intrepid made the move yesterday from Stapleton to Manhattan's West Side and it's new home at Pier 86.

Intrepid returns.
Staten Island Advance hitched a ride with a tugboat that was aiding in the effort to guide the massive ship up the Hudson River, and here's a look at some of what they saw.
