NEAH BAY, Wash. —

An emergency response tugboat has aided a 106-foot fishing boat that lost power off northwest Washington's Cape Flattery.

According to a state Ecology Department news release, the Crowley Marine tug Hunter towed the Papado II to the fishing vessel's home port, Neah Bay. No environmental damage or injuries were reported.

The tug was summoned early Wednesday after the crew reported a loss of propulsion because of sea water leaking into the engine room. The problem left the vessel without power in patchy dense fog with southerly winds of about 15 knots.
