NEW YORK (Associated Press) - K-Sea GP Holdings LP, a recently formed limited partnership, said Wednesday it plans an initial public offering of common units but did not set any terms in its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Formed in December 2007, the company's assets consist of partnership interests in K-Sea Transportation Partners LP, a publicly traded partnership that provides marine transportation, distribution and logistics services for refined petroleum products in the U.S. KSP currently operates a fleet of 73 tank barges, one tanker and 59 tugboats. Its clients include major oil companies, oil traders and refiners.
