Port of Altamira pilots trained at the Newport Simulator Center at the beginning of October. The training included the use of a full mission bridge to simulate am LNG carrier and a 55-ton ASD tug. The training also covered emergency training for pilots and tug masters on situations like power and steering losses. The training used a full mission bridge as an LNG carrier and a smaller simulator as a 55 tonne ASD tug.
