The captain of a 57-foot tugboat, the Lori B, intentionally grounded his vessel after it struck bottom and began taking on water overnight in the Columbia River. The vessel was refloated and commercial salvors are making repairs. The tug was pushing an empty 240-ft barge at the time of the accident. (AP) - The master of a 57-foot tugboat intentionally grounded his vessel on the Columbia River after it began to take on water this morning. The master of the Lori B grounded the vessel near Troutdale about 3 a.m. after it struck bottom and began to flood.
