The Arung Samudera, an Indonesian naval training vessel ran aground on Inskip Point in Southern Queensland, near Fraser Island in Australia. The vessel was not leaking and was not in danger of breaking apart. The boat will be salvaged, but that work is delayed as authorities wait out bad weather in the area. Eighteen crew members were forced to jump from the vessel when it was grounded in a storm. Click Read More for a link to the full story From The Brisbane Times: Eighteen sailors were forced to jump from the 35-metre, three-masted sail training ship KRI Arung Samudera after it was swept ashore on Rainbow Beach, near Gympie in south-east Queensland, early yesterday. The New Zealand-built schooner had been due in Brisbane today from Cairns.
