The Smit Cymyran will be beached and patched before any additional attempts are made to tow the tug into port. The 1989 tug made its way onto the rocks east of Skerries on Monday. One compartment flooded as the crew was leaving the vessel, but were able to close the watertight doors to prevent the boat from sinking. The tide lifted the tug off the rocks, but the boat was too deep in the water to be towed. Click Read More for a link to the full story.
