A Polish master of a 3,169 DWT cargo vessel was released on bail by British authorities after ramming his vessel, the Jork, into an unmanned platform 40 miles east of Cromer on Saturday. He was charged with being drunk on board the ship. Although he was not on duty at the time, he was unable to respond in an emergency. The boat is resting in about 50 feet of water. The boat's diesel fuel has dispersed.
