The Ulstein Design company is celebrating the order of hull number 40, which uses its unique ULSTEIN X-BOW design. About half of the orders taken to date use the 'inverted bow'created for North Sea offshore work. The company delivered the first ship using the design, the Bourbon Orca, last summer. Ulstein Design is a newcomer to the Ulstein Group, which was created in 1917 and employs about 600 people worldwide. This link has some flash video of the Bourbon Orca in action.
