NC Expands Weekly Container Service To North China |

The North Carolina State Ports Authority kicked off twice-weekly port service between Wilmington, NC and North China. The AWE North Loop provides weekly service to Qingdao, Ningbo and Shanghai, China, as well as service to Busan, South Korea. The service will also feature the use of significantly larger container ships.
Expanded container service at the Port of Wilmington is part of an
economic plan to create more high-paying assembly, manufacturing and
distribution jobs statewide in North Carolina.
